This prestigious award highlights the exceptional collaboration and innovation demonstrated by the team in developing the intake line, which has mutual benefits for ocean life and marine research.

After two years of careful consideration and planning, a team of expert engineers and technicians developed the new 27-metre Seawater Life Support and came up with a unique deployment strategy.

Using advanced eco-friendly materials and innovative design methodologies, the new intake line will meet the increasing needs of the MBA’s Research Aquarium, while promoting biodiversity and sustainability.
